Info about CWDM Optical Module
CWDM Optical Module is use of CWDM technology, by means of external WDM, compounding different wavelengths of optical signals, and transmission through a single fiber to save fiber resources. At the same time, the receiver part needs to use the wave demultiplexer decomposition of the complex optical signal.
CWDM Principle
The CWDM SFP+ series single mode transceiver is small form factor pluggable module for bi-directional serial optical data communications such as IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-LR/LW/ER. It is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C. This module is designed for single mode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of CWDM wavelength. There are 18 center wavelengths available from 1270 nm to 1610 nm, with each step 20 nm. A guaranteed minimum optical link budget of 14 dB is offered.
CWDM XFP transceiver series is designed for single-mode fibre serial optical data communications such as 10G Ethernet 10GBASE-ER/EW/ZR and 10G Fibre Channel 1200-SM-LL-L. This module is designed for single mode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of CWDM wavelength. There are 18 center wavelengths available from 1270 nm to 1610 nm, with each step 20 nm. Maximum optical budget is 23dB.
CWDM X2 transceiver series is designed for CWDM optical data communications such as 10G Ethernet 10GBASE-ER/EW/ZR and 10G Fibre Channel 1200-SM-LL-L applications. There are 18 center wavelengths available from 1270 nm to 1610 nm, with each step 20nm. Maximum optical budget is 23dB. The transceiver consists of two sections: The transmitter section consists of a directly modulated uncooled CWDM DFB/EML laser, driver and signal conditioner. The receiver section incorporates a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and signal conditioner or APD.
1.25G 850nm 550m MM DDM GBIC Fiber Optic Module
CWDM GBIC
GBIC solution is a convenient and cost-effective solution for the adoption of Gigabit Ethernet in data-center, and metropolitan-area access networks, with maximum optical budget 41dB! CWDM GBIC Transceivers are compliant with the ITU-T G.694.2 standard defined CWDM grid. Using with Sopto passive MUX/DEMUX, operator get 18 CWDM channels in 2 fiber links, and 9 CWDM channels in 1 fiber link.
