PCI-E Cards

Image of PCI-e.jpgSOPTO PCI Express Network Card (PCIe*) takes advantage of PCI Express (PCIe*) server slots and fiber-optic connectivity to enhance network performance with the SOPTO PRO/1000 PF PCI Express (PCIe*) Network Adapters. SOPTO PRO Gigabit Ethernet PF PCI Express (PCIe*)Network Cardand EF Dual-port Fiber Optic Network Cards design, are based on Intel original controller chip, PCI Express (PCIe*) bus, SFP slot and LC cable fiber connectivity, to achieve professional gigabit Ethernet network connectivity. They can added multi-port fiber connectivity ,trust SFP transceivers connectivity in a single PCI Express (PCIe*)bus interface within one server adapter ,to enhance network performance and also saving valuable PCI Express (PCIe *) server slots.

In Gigabit Ethernet connection of optical network, PCI Express (PCIe*) equipments dedicated input / output (I / O). Bandwidth can guarantee superior performance, and do not take up bus bandwidth. In addition, SOPTO PRO/1000 PF single port PCI Express (PCIe*) Network Card design can demonstrate excellent performance among multi-processor system. When used in conjunction with the receiver extension of Microsoft or Linux * scalable I / O devices. SOPTO PRO/1000 dual port PCI Express (PCIe*) Network Card can be balance effectively among the network load of multiple CPU cores, so to improve the performance of multiprocessor systems.

Sopto can provide 1000PF PCI Express (PCIe*) Network Adapters and ET Dual-port PCI Express (PCIe*)Network Cards too. With Sopto’s engineers’ hard working, we have produced 10 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe Network Adapters, which are the most flexible and scalable Ethernet Adapters for today's demanding data center environments.SOPTO PCI Express (PCIe*) Network Cardsare designed for server and high-end equipments, powered by the third-generation 10 GbE network controller: the Intel Ethernet 82599ES 10 Gigabit Ethernet Controller. The X520 server adapter family addresses the demanding needs of the next-generation data center by providing unmatched features for virtualization, flexibility for LAN and SAN networking, and proven, reliable performance.

I just needed a cheap pci-e card and this one seemed to be perfect. However after several hours troubleshooting on my machine, I could not get this to work. The card worked fine in my older XP machine, so I know the card was fine, but for some reason I was getting error messages in Device Manager on the Windows 7 machine. I spoke with support, who was helpful and help me to get it working.
