Applications
An Ethernet to Fiber Media Converter can also be used where there is high level of electromagnetic interference or EMI which is a common phenomenon found in industrial plants. This interference can cause corruption of data over copper-based ethernet links. Data transmitted over fiber optic cable however is completely immune to this type of noise. An Ethernet to Fiber Optic Converter therefore enables you to inter-connect your copper-ethernet devices over fiber ensuring optimal data transmission across the plant floor.

Sopto Supplies Fiber Media Converters
Fiber media converters can be used anywhere in the network to integrate newer technology with existing equipment to support new applications, technologies and future growth. Fiber converters are key components of optical networking because their long distance operation, high bandwidth capacity and reliability make fiber optics the most desired channel for data communications. Instead of costly, across-the-board upgrades, media converters can extend the productive life of the existing cabling as well as the active equipment.
Media converters are one of the most saturated niches in the software market as they are heavily in demand and none of them can be considered perfect, thus software vendors continue to develop media converters which are better than the ones that exist in the market. With the multitude of media converters available in the market to choose from, finding the right media converter can be a daunting task.
Sopot provides a large selection of professional fiber optic media converters for Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Serial Datacom interfaces and E1 or T1 voice/data communications.
For purchase high quality fiber media converters with low cost or for more products’ information, please contact a Sopto representative by calling 86-755-36946668, or by sending an email to info@sopto.com.
