Applications
An Ethernet to Fiber Media Converter can also be used where there is high level of electromagnetic interference or EMI which is a common phenomenon found in industrial plants. This interference can cause corruption of data over copper-based ethernet links. Data transmitted over fiber optic cable however is completely immune to this type of noise. An Ethernet to Fiber Optic Converter therefore enables you to inter-connect your copper-ethernet devices over fiber ensuring optimal data transmission across the plant floor.

How to use Power over Ethernet Kid?
Put a wireless router in a prime location that does not have access to power using the Power over Ethernet Kit. One of the best places to put your wireless router is in the middle of your attic or ceiling, allowing the signal to travel freely through the open area to each room.
Unfortunately many of the best places for wifi routers do not have power outlets nearby. Whether it's an out-building, roof top, tree top, or tower, the PoE Kit is a great solution.

PoE Usage Illustration
A POE kit could also be used for mounting a WiFi router on a tower or tall tree to provide wifi internet for the entire neighborhood. Remember to enclose any equipment in a weatherproof container or it may be damaged by the elements.
It's best if the weatherproof container is thin plastic so that the wifi signal can broadcast uninhibited. Position the router wifi antennas in a vertical orientation for best coverage.
