It is compliant with the QSFP MSA and IEEE P802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4. Sopto QSFP+ A0C is an assembly of 4 full-duplex lanes, where each lane is capable of transmitting data at rates up to 10Gb/s, providing an aggregated rate of 40Gb/s.
Sopto Interconnect Solutions 40Gb/s Low Power Active Optical Cable assemblies offer a cost-effective, extended reach option for high-speed data center interconnects. These AOC assemblies incorporate integrated opto-electronics with four fiber optic transceivers per end, each operating at data rates from 1Gb/s to 10.5Gb/s and supporting a reach up to 100 meters.
The cable is available in a number of standard lengths up to 100 meters. The Buy QSFP+ AOC is a low power (0.78 W per cable, 30% less than the power consumption of competing products) 40Gbps, AOC assembly featuring four bidirectional full duplex optical transceiver channels per end, each operating at data rates from 1.0Gbps to 10.3125Gbps with a cable length of 3.0 meters.
