How to Strip Very Thin Wires?
Stripping the protective plastic insulation off of wires is normally a very simple task and requires your average wire stripper, a razor blade or even a lighter. However, when the wire you need to strip down becomes smaller, the task becomes significantly more difficult. Stripping a very small wire can be a risky maneuver as the wires themselves are very fragile and applying too much pressure or heat can cut or damage the wire. Luckily, we provide the make wire strippers designed specifically for the task.
Strip Wires Instructions
1. Purchase a variable-sized wire stripped from your local hardware or electronics store. Variable wire strippers have a number of labeled notches in them for different wire diameters.
2. Determine the diameter of the wire you wish to strip.
3. 3. Choose the appropriate notch in your wire stripper and carefully pull the wire through the stripper until you have exposed the desired amount of wire.
Now, just follow our guide to strip your wires.
