120G CXP AOC Overview
Sopto 120G CXP Active Optical Cable integrates the design of 12-Channel VCSEL Array and PIN Array, providing 12 parallel data channels. Each channel supports up to 10.5Gb/s transmission data rate, total 126Gb/s bandwidth.
When we use this 120G CXP AOC over OM3 optical cables, the transmission distance can reach 300 meters. This product is suitable for 12X QDR InfiniBand Interconnection, meeting with IEEE802.3ba standard.

Since the 120Gb/s CXP AOC has no exposed optical interfaces, we wouldn’t pay attention to clean and protect its’ optical interface. To meet the demand of low cost and for widely used in Data Centers and Cloud Computer Rooms, the 120G active optical cable is designed with DDM function.
The typical power consumption of CXP AOC is less than 2.5W, meeting with Class 3 power consumption standard of CXP protocol.
