Feature of New GPON Transceiver, Structure, Advantage
The feature of new GPON transceiver. The new GPON transceiver is designed for the 128 road branch structure especially since the EPON network often has 1x32 branches. This GPON transceiver adopts ITU.G.984 standard with 2.5G downlink data rate and 1.2G uplink data rate.

The OLT optical module adopts B+ series laser which supports SFF or SFP package. The OLT optical module adopts the 2.488G continuous mode for downlink 1490nm; and 1.244G burst-mode receiving and 2R output for uplink 1310nm. The standard working temperature of OLT optical module is from 0 degree to 70 degree.
The ONU optical module with SFF package adopts B+ series laser. This ONU optical module supports 1.244G uplink burst emission and 2.488G downlink 1490nm continuous receiving. And the standard working temperature is also from 0 degree to 70 degree.
