The related QSFP+ 40G-ER4 fiber optic products will be developed. With the rapid growth bandwidth demand of new business, the entire communication network needs to upgrade the bandwidth of optical transmission node from the original 10G to 40G even 100G urgently.
At present, the 40G/100G Ethernet standard, IEEE 802.3ba and the technology standard of QSFP+ 40GBASE-SR4 and QSFP+ 40GBASE-LR4 both have been officially released. And the newest technology standard of QSFP+ 40GBASE-ER4 will be published soon.
