Can SFP optical module work if only be connected with one optical jumper wire?

SFP optical module is divided into single fiber and two fibers. Single fiber is connected with one optical jumper wire which can transmit in two-way communication; there is only one LC interface or SC interface. There are two LC interfaces in two fibers, one interface is used for sending, and the other is used for receiving. It can not work if only connect one optical jumper wire, because it will be thought to be without LINK for switch.
