　　The main driving force is the broadband services of households and the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customers. Simply to say, the fiber allows the service provider to provide the faster internet service. IPTV is the important part of broadband services for many countries’ household users. The optical fiber also let the service providers gain some operating benefit.    
　　The broadband service of FTTx network is the main development driver for fiber in Europe in rent years. For Asia, North America and parts of Latin America, and Australia is the same as Europe. In other regions of India, Africa and Latin, the backbone is the more important driver.
　　In China, although the FTTH is the major factor, the mobile infrastructure is the biggest driver.
