Canada carriers Rogers pushed the GPON FTTH business

November 27, 2012 news, Canada's largest cable television operator, Rogers Communications Inc. (Rogers) confirmed its downlink and uplink speeds of up to 250Mbit/s broadband service using FTTH technology. The business named "Rogers Ultimate Fibre Internet", opened only in Toronto and other places.

The use of this service limit 500GB per month, the new business to catch up before Rogers is the most high-end service based on Docsis 3.0 (150Mbit/s downlink, 10Mbit/s uplink, $ 122.99 per month).
