Difference of the CWDM and DWDM, Wavelength Spacing

The difference of the CWDM and DWDM. The CWDM and DWDM technologies are both the WDM technology. The CWDM technology uses the 20nm wavelength spacing. And there are 8 commonly used wavelengths.

The DWDM technology uses the 0.8 wavelength spacing and more than 32 wavelengths are commonly used.

For the closer wavelength spacing, the DWDM needs the more accurate laser (usually at low temperature).

Thanks to the WDM technology, we supply WDM modules, CWDM modules and DWDM modules. And our product lines include SFP transceivers, SFP+ transceivers, GBIC modules, X2 fiber optic module, XENPAK modules and QSFP+ modules.

Our fiber optic products are all in accordance with the related protocols and standards. With the low price and high performance, our fiber optic transceivers are popular around the world.
