Advantages and disadvantages of PLC Splitter

Advantages:It's not sensitive to transfer wavelength, so it can meet ends of different demand. It has spectral uniformity feature,so it can distribute optical signal to houses uniformly. It has compact structure and small volume, so it can be installed in various transfer boxes. It has many spectral channels, even as much as 32 channels. And,the most important,the more channels there are, the cheaper it is.

Disadvantages:It has complex production process and high technology standard, so the cores are monopolied by some foreign countries, and there are not so many companies in China which can master the skills. Besides, it is some expensive, then the cost is high,especially when the channels are not so many.
