International Womens Day

March is Women’s History Month and today, March 8, is International Women’s Day. It’s a good time to consider, celebrate, and reflect on all of the women you admire.

We’re delighted and proud to have so many great women as members of Shenzhen Sopto Technology Co., Limited. All female employees took a half day off celebrating the International Women's Day and watched a movie named 'War Horse' on 8th March 2012.

The perspective of the 'War Horse' is unique. Rebellious war horse Joye occupied the absolute protagonist of the movie. Comparing with the previous movies which are made by Spielberg, to take a child, to take the aliens, to take the robot acts as the protagonist, it is seemingly different, and however it is actually the same. War Horse simply explores some of the issues through an unusual perspective. Joey coincides with the First World War. In the early 20th century, the technologies were not quite developed as today's. The horse has played an irreplaceable role in the war in the film, not only as a cavalry, but also delivering wounded, pulling artillery for the German, etc. It can be said that the secret weapon of a good horse is a person whether could survive from the war. At the end of the movie, Emily’s Grandpa said that the War took everything. It implies that Emily dead in this War as well. It also conveys the adverse effects of the war have not been the end. The story expresses the anti-war theme from the horse’s perspective.
