40G QSFP+ module is the lower power consumption
The 40G QSFP+ module is the lower power consumption fiber optic transceiver. With the rapid growth of new business for the bandwidth demand, the entire communication network is in urgent need of upgrading the bandwidth of optical transmitting node form the original 10G to 40G even 100G.
40G QSFP+ is considered as a most advantageous package form in the 40G network deployment of the next generation. Compared with the 10G SFP+ module, the bandwidth of QSFP+ is increased by 4 times. But the 40G QSFP+ module also has obvious advantages in the aspects of power consumption, volume and cost.
This new 40G QSFP+ LR4 fiber optic transceiver achieves 4-channel CWDM mux/demux. Each channel supports 10.3Gbp data rates and supports the transmission of 10km single mode fiber with built-in DDM function.
