What is the role of fiber optical preform?
It enters fiber drawing process after the completion of fiber optical preform. The optical fiber preform will be fixed at the top of the drawing machine in the clean room, and is gradually heated to 2000 degrees Celsius. After that, fiber optical preform will gradually melt and accumulated liquid in the bottom, let it naturally formed fiber, which is a bit like the scenario we eat candied yam pull out the sugar silk.

The coating material is also timely coated on the drawing machine, to protect the optical fibers from moisture, wear damage. Some coating material is attached to the optical fiber by natural cooling, some use a light (UV) irradiation optical fiber so that the coating material is cured.During drawing process, the measurement and control of the fiber diameter is very important. Quality parameters such as fiber diameter and structure are more related with the drawing speed, automated measurement control will adjust brushed speed at any time.
