Second hand optical transceiver modules: Re-luster, outdated and having some scratches in its slot, only available for half a year. After that, its optical power will decline, so will its optical sensitivity. As shown in followings:

Ø  Laser and photodetector

A high quality laser and photodector can be used for more than 5 years. The laser and photodetector of our optical transceivers are from CY and Mitsubishi manufacturers.

Ø  Electric chip

The quality of electric chip also determines the useful life of an optical transceiver module. Our transceiver modules’ electric chips are from Maxim and other mainstream electric chip manufacturers.


u  Compatibility

Ø  Compatibility with equipment

As different dealers have different equipment, so the relation between optical transceiver modules and equipment concerns our customers. But you may make contacts with dealer in advance.

Since optical transceiver modules are standard products, embracing international standard. If they are authorized by international standard and FCC, their compatibility is ensured.

Fiber optical transceiver does not produce high temperature at work, particularly when working in switchboard and generator room. High or low temperature will affect its optical power and optical sensitivity and other parameters. Generally, its best working temperature ranges from -40 to +85℃,thus, meeting the ability in present temperatures.

Original products all have codes and you can check its manufacture information and factory version.

A simple way to identify a manufacture is to ask them to provide their factory product line and HD image of equipment (watermark is allowed). If they seek excuses to avoid providing, they are mostly likely to be not original manufacture.
